How shipping is priced on your weekly Collect Co. invoice — by how many records are in the box. Everything else counts like records (see “Shipping rates in full” below).
Rates are being updated — check back shortly.
The rates on two pages: the rate table, and how everything else counts. Tap a page to open it full size.
This section explains, in plain words, how the rate table above is applied to your order. It says how many records each thing counts as, and never states an amount: every price, carton charge, poster charge and handling amount is the one shown in the rate table above, which is the rates card we publish and keep current. The only amounts here are in “Examples”, and they are examples. Where this section and the rate table above ever seem to disagree, the rate table above controls the amount and this section controls how it is applied.

Shipping for a box is priced by how many records are in it, using the “records in the box” rows of the rate table above. We count everything going in one box as a number of records, find the row that number falls in, and charge that row’s amount. The rate rises one step for each record up to six records, then one step for every two records, up to fifty records in a box. A box of 51 or more records is packed first, then charged what it costs us to ship plus the handling amount shown in the rate table above. The amount covers the whole box, not each item.
However little is in it, every box starts at the one-record rate in the rate table above. A box holding only a few CDs, 45s, tapes or cards, for example, ships at the one-record rate.
Everything else counts like records:
Anything that is not a record, CD, tape, card, comic, magazine, book or poster is a collectible and is counted by size and weight (part 7 below).
Two magazines count as one record. A single magazine, or the odd one over a pair, counts as one record.
Posters ship rolled in a tube. The tube adds a poster charge to your shipping, one amount for 1 to 5 posters and a higher one for 6 to 10, both shown in the rate table above. 11 or more posters: quoted after packing — packed first, then what it cost us plus the handling amount shown in the rate table.
Toys, Funkos, slabs, shirts, glassware: anything that is not a record, CD, tape, card, comic, magazine, book or poster. Size is the longest side; weight is the item itself. Find the item’s size and weight in this table to see how many records it counts as:
| Size (longest side) | Lightunder 1 lb | Medium1–3 lb | Heavy3–10 lb |
|---|---|---|---|
| Smallunder 8 in | 1 | 2 | 4 |
| Mediumunder 12 in | 3 | 4 | 6 |
| Largeunder 18 in | 10 | 12 | 16 |
A collectible over 18 inches or over 10 lb is a big item (part 9).
A box with a collectible in it ships as a padded carton, and the carton charge shown in the rate table above is added once for that box, on top of its record count. Records, CDs, tapes, cards, comics, magazines, books and posters never bring the carton charge on their own.
Big items, meaning anything over 18 inches or over 10 lb, guitars and framed art, are packed first, then charged what it costs us to ship them plus the handling amount shown in the rate table above. Once the item is packed we weigh and measure it, and the amount is worked out from the carrier’s charge to us for that parcel.
Examples only; the rate table above is what is charged:
Local pickup is free. If you choose to pick up at the store in Lebanon, Tennessee, there is no shipping charge. Items held for pickup are kept for you as described on your invoice or order.
The rates on this page are for addresses in the lower 48 states only. For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international orders, shipping is calculated per order. For orders shipped outside the United States, import duties, taxes, customs fees and any broker charges are the buyer’s responsibility, are not included in our shipping charge, and are collected by the carrier or your country’s customs, usually at delivery. A parcel refused because of these charges is treated as a refused parcel under “Your address” below.
Rates can change. The rate table on this page at the time your invoice is sent is the one that applies to that invoice, and any change is posted here.
For purchases made on our live streams, in the store or otherwise added to your account during the week, shipping is added to your weekly invoice, which we send through QuickBooks after the invoice week closes. Orders from our website store: shipping is calculated at checkout, from your address. You pay shipping once per box, not once per item.
Any shipping figure you see before your order is packed (on a running total, in your account or in a message from us) is an estimate based on what we expect to pack. The final amount is the one on your invoice or checkout receipt, worked out from the rate table above and what actually went in the box. If the final count differs from the estimate, the invoice shows the count we used.
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct. We ship to the address on your order or account at the time we pack. If a parcel is returned to us or has to be re-routed because the address was incomplete or incorrect, or because it was refused or not collected, the cost of shipping it again (and any carrier fee for the correction or return) is yours, and we will bill it before it ships again.
Once a parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery times are set by the carrier, not by us. We are not responsible for carrier delays, including those caused by weather, holidays, customs or carrier volume, and shipping charges are not refunded because a parcel arrived later than expected. Delivery dates a carrier shows are its estimates.
If a parcel arrives damaged, or tracking shows it delivered and you do not have it, contact support within 7 days of the delivery date (or of the last tracking update, for a parcel that never arrives). Please keep the packaging and the item and send us photos. Claims are filed by us with the carrier, and the outcome depends on the carrier’s review. Where a shipment carries carrier coverage, that coverage is what applies, and we will tell you what the claim returns.
Items on the same weekly invoice that are going to the same address are counted together and ship together in as few boxes as is safe, and each box is counted on its own under the rate table above. A poster tube adds its poster charge, a box with a collectible in it adds the carton charge, and big or heavy items are charged as described in part 9.
If you are a Record Crate member, your records wait on your shelf and ship in your crate under the Record Crate terms, not under the per-box rates above. The crate carries records, CDs and 45s (each CD or 45 counts as one record): everything else on your invoice (tapes, books, magazines, posters, collectibles and big or heavy items) ships the week you buy it, at the regular rates in the rate table above.
If a shipping amount on an invoice, estimate or checkout is plainly wrong (for example, a row applied to the wrong count, or a charge that does not match the rate table above), we may correct that obvious error before your order ships. If the correction raises what you pay, we will tell you first, and you may cancel the affected items instead.
Questions? Send us a message anytime. If anything here is unclear, or you would like a quote before you buy, contact support at contact@shopcollectco.com or call (615) 466-7066. We are glad to explain how any box on your invoice was counted.
Our shipping rates are for the lower 48 states only. Alaska, Hawaii, territories and international orders: shipping is calculated per order. You'll pick your address at checkout, and shipping is figured from there.
Posters add a tube charge, a box with a collectible in it adds the carton charge, and big or heavy items are packed first and then priced — see Shipping rates above.
We aim to pack and ship orders promptly. Items added to your weekly invoice ship after your invoice week closes and is settled the following week. Live-show and BIN claims are gathered and shipped once your order is complete.
Shipping for a signed piece is calculated from your shipping address at checkout. Every piece ships as soon as it has been authenticated and packed, and we notify you at every step through to shipping. Orders placed during the earlier pre-order window ship as each piece is signed and authenticated after the event.
Send-ins (your own item signed at the event) closed on October 6, 2026. Send-in orders already placed are handled under the rules they were placed under: once the item arrives we weigh and measure it, send a return-shipping invoice to your email and your account, and the signed item ships back as soon as that invoice is paid.
Once your order ships, we email you a confirmation with the carrier and a tracking link so you can follow it to your door.
International orders may incur import duties or taxes collected by your country at delivery. Any estimate shown at checkout is just that — an estimate, not the final customs charge, and any duties or taxes due at delivery are the customer's responsibility.
