This policy explains how Collect Company, LLC. (doing business as Collect Co.) handles your information when you use our website, buy from us, or watch our live show. Questions? Email contact@shopcollectco.com.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you create an account we store your name, email, and (if you provide them) a public username, mobile phone number, shipping address, and a profile photo or avatar.
- Order details. Items you buy or reserve, your weekly invoice, and the shipping address for delivery.
- Payment details. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe processes the payment and returns only a confirmation to us.
- Marketing sign-ups. If you join our email or text alert lists, we keep the email address and/or phone number you give us so we can notify you about drops, releases, and restocks.
- Messages. If you contact us or chat with Otis (our on-site assistant), we keep what you send so we can help.
- Public comments. Comments you post on our livestream or site (your username and message) are stored and displayed publicly.
- Technical data. We collect and store technical data including your IP address for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.
- Login credentials. If you set a password, it's stored as a hash with your account — never in plain text.
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and run the site. If you arrive through an affiliate link, we store that referral for up to 90 days so the affiliate gets credit if you order. We don't use these for cross-site advertising.
Service providers we share with
We only share what's needed to run the store, and only with the providers below:
- Stripe — processes card payments.
- Our shipping & fulfillment provider — receives your name and shipping address so we can rate, label, and ship your order.
- Our text-messaging provider — sends text-message alerts to the number you give us, if you opt in.
- Our team-messaging service — receives order notifications and relays live-chat comments (your public username and message).
- Our live-chat relay service — carries live-chat comments (your public username and message) between the website and our stream.
- Our AI assistant provider — powers the Otis chat assistant. Messages you send to Otis are processed by a third-party AI service on our behalf to generate replies.
- YouTube / Google — our embedded live and video players are served by YouTube, which may set its own cookies when a player loads.
- Our website hosting provider — serves the site and processes standard access logs, including IP addresses.
Marketing & how to opt out
You can leave any email list using the unsubscribe link in the email, and stop texts by replying STOP. Turning off marketing doesn't stop essential messages about an order you placed (for example, a shipping confirmation).
We don't sell your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices
You can view and update your account details when you're signed in, or email us to ask what we have on file or to close your account. Some records tied to completed orders may be kept as long as needed for tax and business records.
